JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN
Construction Area: 3m long, 12m wide Road
The 300m long sub-arterial road lies at the geographical center of Jaipur City; in proximity to Jaipur Walled City. Conceived as an exhibition gallery, integrating I.R.C. (Indian Road Congress) standards alongside teaching spaces related to road safety, 'Vardhaman Path' helps enforcing on-road protocol strongly.
The road cross section is designed as per I.R.C.. It showcases optimum turning radii, speed breakers, zebra crossings, signages, pedestrian crossing and pathways. The project also intends to respond to the urban fabric and the changing mindspace.
The road is flanked with two schools and a Mother Teresa Home. The design integrates exhibition walls, floors, open air theatre, demountable stages, digital movie projection surfaces with landscape elements. Thence, setting an example for further scientific investigations.
